Balance Sheet Accountant – Milton Keynes

Balance Sheet Accountant, well-established highly reputable industry services organisation, permanent, circa 35-40k

Our client, a well-established, international, highly reputable organisation in the Milton Keynes area, providing solutions to multiple sectors across the world are looking for an experience Balance Sheet Accountant to join their finance team. The role is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of international sets of books and records. Other responsibilities include;

  • Daily, monthly and year end functional accounting duties
  • Submit balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Manage US GAAP reporting
  • Liaise with International and US external auditors

For this position we are looking for someone who has had experience SOX compliance and ideally someone with knowledge of US GAAP principles. Someone who could work closely with international finance teams, adhering to required outputs and timeframes. You will require confident communication skills and you must be self-sufficient in your capabilities in the role.

This individual will also be self-motivated and pro-active. Someone who will be able to demonstrate how they can maintain and nurture relationships across the organisation. We are ideally looking for someone to come into this role for the long term, someone who can work closely with the finance manager and is keen to help drive the organisation forward.

This position sits within the main UK finance team in a highly successful, well-established international organisation who have critical deadlines for emergency solutions.
