A newly created position for a qualified Finance Manager to join the divisional head office of a very well established national distribution business, resulting from restructuring in the finance team after a period of positive change.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Finance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the monthly accounting close activities lead to the general ledger being accurately stated, completed on a timely basis and that there is the requisite level of internal control in line with best practice for group policies. The role includes managing and developing a team, deputising for the Financial Controller and also includes managing change projects as the shared service centre develops.
