FP&A Analyst – Northampton

FP&A Analyst, Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA, UK Head Office, Northampton, to £32,000 + Study 

Due to a recent restructure, a super opportunity has arisen for a FP&A Analyst to join the friendly head office finance team of this fast moving and exciting international business, with a reputation for providing a high quality service. As the FP&A Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting of the global group management results and projections, including comparison to relevant KPIs.
  • Performing on-going analysis and communication of global results with comparison to prior year, trend and expectation.
  • Providing management with relevant reporting and commentary. 
  • Active participation in the communication of the group result to the parent organisation through the completion and review of IFM packages
  • Support in the delivery of the group budget and forecast processes including analysis, model development, preparation and reporting.
  • Support of other departmental projects as required to deliver improvements to the global group financial planning and analysis capabilities
  • Preparation of financial models and analysis for use in regard to initiatives such as country performance evaluation, trend analysis, profitability analysis, company valuations, and overhead spend reporting.
  • Developing effective working relationships with country finance teams

The ideal person for the role will be currently studying for CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification, or be able to commit to undertake studies within the first 12 months after probation. As a good team fit, our client is looking for a hands on, competent and pro-active individual who is keen to get involved in all areas of accounting. You will have proven analytical and accounting ability, gained ideally from a fast paced head office environment and excellent Excel skills.  Attention to detail, a confident manner, and the willingness to make a positive contribution to the team to ensure that all departmental deadlines are met, will be rewarded with excellent prospects to develop your career within the business as you progress towards qualification.
