Payroll Officer St Neots

Our Client, a well established and innovative SME business, have a vacancy for a Payroll Officer. This is a permanent role, could be some flexibility with the hours to suit either part or full time candidate.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the duties of the Payroll Officer will include:

  • Calculating bonus and commission payments
  • Managing taxes, pensions and deductions
  • Maintaining paper and electronic records
  • Resolving any issues arising
  • Working closely with 3rd parties
  • Ensuring compliance
  • Maintaining best practice

The successful candidate will have proven experience in Payroll, ideally in a sole charge capacity. This is a start to finish role, so it is essential that the successful candidate can hit the ground running and make an impact from day one.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, and so too is the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, especially given recent GDPR regulations.
