Purchase Ledger Clerk

Purchase Ledger Clerk, Stevenage, £21,000 per annum

Our client, a successful SME business in Stevenage, need a Purchase Ledger Clerk to start as soon as possible. The role is permanent full time

Working in a high volume, fast paced environment your duties as the Purchase Ledger Assistant will include the following :

  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Payment runs
  • Query resolution
  • Finance administration
  • Ad hoc support to team as needed

The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will have proven experience in a transactional role. Strong Excel is a must, including vlookups and pivot tables. You will be confident working as part of a team and building relationships at all levels

If you’re keen to learn and progress then this is a great opportunity! There is a very experienced leadership team in place in finance. The FC and FD have both been with the business for 10 + years. You will be working at their head office in an open plan environment. The business actively promotes a 9-5 culture across the business.
