Group Financial Accountant – Milton Keynes

Preparation of group consolidated management accounts, manage group tax,  group VAT and consolidated statutory accounts, to £55k

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of financial reporting, financial analysis and financial compliance tasks & duties.

About the Job:

• Preparation of Group consolidated management accounts consolidations, including flash, forecast and month end
• Delivery of the consolidated budgets & forecasts
• Manage the Group tax matters in conjunction with our professional advisors including audit and submission of tax computations
• Preparation of consolidated VAT returns
• Oversee the Group treasury process
• Responsible for preparation of draft full year & interim consolidated statutory accounts
• Provide support to external auditors at half year and year end, including delivery of audit workings
• Preparation of Group Board deliverables including board powerpoint presentations
• Review and make proposals to improve the control environment within the UK and the wider Group
• Ad – hoc tasks as required by Group Finance Director & Group Financial Controller

About you:

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA
• Excellent IT skills with advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint
