Abacus Consulting was founded in January 2001 by its equal equity Partners, who between them share over 40 years general management and specialist financial recruitment experience. Keen to keep this knowledge in the business, the Partners have remained in hands-on, customer facing roles, continuing to offer career advice to candidates, whilst developing strong relationships with businesses throughout the region.
Building on the success of our first office in Northampton, Abacus has expanded to a network of four locally based offices, now including Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford, which was launched in January 2005. From these bases we have ready access to opportunities across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, with emerging markets in the surrounding counties.
The real strength in our business which sets us apart from most recruiters is the longevity and expertise of our Consultancy staff. The average length of service of our team is 8 years, and each and every one of our Consultants has 10 years+ experience in financial recruitment in the local market.
