A Typical Day

Is there one? Probably not is the answer. However there are some core activities which may give you a flavour for what you would be doing on a day to day basis:

  • Business Generation: by this we mean telesales …. And there will be some cold calling! In addition to meeting with clients face to face to sell our services.
  • Candidate Management: you will be managing a portfolio of candidates relevant to your target recruitment market and your job is to look after those people by keeping in touch with them and to interview and prepare CV’s for new registrations.
  • Job Fulfillment: you will spend a substantial amount of time searching our recruitment database to identify candidates whom are relevant to specific client vacancies, preparing and sending the candidates CV’s to clients and the after arranging interviews and communicating job offers.
  • Advertising and Marketing: here’s where your creative juices need to start flowing when writing job adverts and marketing literature for distribution to both clients and candidates.


We offer a comprehensive induction programme which consists of systems training, technical jargon training relevant to the accountancy sector and core sales techniques training. All the managers in our business have a wealth of recruitment experience so on the job mentoring and coaching is very much an ongoing process. In addition we deliver in house training courses geared toward heightening your commercial skills and gaining control over how you make your desk as financially rewarding as possible.
